As 2012-13 brings about Newton Aycliffe's second season at the top table of the Northern League, Allan Oliver's marches will look to build on their remarkable ninth position finish at the first attempt - a campaign which saw them early frontrunners in the league, and one which never saw them out of the top-10...not bad for a side who were playing on parks in front of a handful of people in 2008.
