Former pro with Hartlepool, where he made 19 appearances, 26-year-old Appleby joined the club from Crook Town in September 2011, after a career where he has scored goals a plenty with sides from the EvoStik and Northern Leagues. Forward who relies on his pace, of which he has bags, scored 30 league goals for the Ambers last term.
