To mark the end of the season, Newton Aycliffe’s award winning matchday programme are allowing you to question the manager.

With Allan Oliver set to feature in the Shildon edition on the last day of the season, fans are encouraged to submit their queries and the most interesting ones will be answered by the Aycliffe gaffer in a special Q+A feature.

It’s been an incredible first season for the Newtonians in the top tier of the Northern League. Oliver has overseen the transformation from park football to competing in the FA Cup.

This season has seen victories over Northern League heavyweights Whitley Bay, West Auckland, Bishop Auckland and Shildon and the club are set for a fantastic top-half finish in the league.

But what do you want to know about the man behind the success? Did he ever believe the club would reach this level? What are his plans for making next year even better? Is there money in the budget for new players once Sean Tarling’s disciplinary fines are paid up?
