Once again we come back from a goal behind to win!
We went in at the break unlucky to be a goal behind as the first half was a quite even affair separated by an own goal from a cross in from the right, with an unlucky last touch coming off Liam McNamara.
The hosts started the second half brighter as they tried to extend their lead but we got back into our stride and drew level through Dean Thexton who did well to get in front of two defenders who were waiting to clear a Gez Richardson cross and smash it past the home goalkeeper. Then, in Newton Aycliffe style as it's been this season, we left it late to get the winner. Consett were pushing for a winner when a clearance found Dean Thexton to allow him to slide it between the two centre backs to Shaun Ryder who took it round the keeper to roll it into the net.
