The Ebac Northern League have released the fixtures for the 2022-2023 season. Brian Atkinson will open his first full season as Manager with a home game against his predecessor. Newcastle Benfield will be the visitors to Moore Lane on opening day (Saturday 30th July) with Colin Stromsoy bringing with him three players who featured for the Newtonians last season.
As usual, it will be a hectic start to the season with nine league games planned before the end of August. In addition, the FA Cup will get underway on Saturday 6th August with the draw expected to be made on 8th July.
Aycliffe’s first trip to League newcomers Pickering Town will be on Tuesday 23rd August. While the season will end with a Cumbrian double-header as we visit Carlisle City on Saturday 15th April and Penrith on the 22nd.
The Ebac Northern League is aware of a couple glitches in the fixture list (eg we’re listed for games on both 29th & 30th August) & will be addressing them asap. The fixture list is always subject to change due to cup matches, weather related postponements etc so please keep up to date via our website www.newtonaycliffefc.co.uk & social media.
