Newton Aycliffe FC Under 18's are now proud to be sponsored by the Territorial Army.
Newton Aycliffe launched a brand new youth team in summer 2009 in a bid to help nurture the town�s best young footballers.
The County Durham club, on the crest of a wave following their Wearside League title win, have formed the Under-18s team to compete in the Durham County Lomax Training Services U-18s League in the 2009-10 season, with the long-term ambition of creating a fully-fledged Academy set-up.
The under 18's have also managed to secure sponsorship from their local Territorial Army for this seasons new strip.
The town�s two youth football club set-ups � Newton Aycliffe Youth FC and the Sports Club � have joined forces to help run the new Under-18s team, which will act as a direct feeder to Aycliffe�s flourishing senior team, who are looking forward to Northern League football next season for the first time in Aycliffe�s history.
It will be run by joint-managers Gary Lowes and Paul Jarps and assisted by Colin Harrison, and this section of the website has been designed especially for the U-18s team.
