Jamie Owens continued his record of scoring in every game for Newton Aycliffe, but the Royal Blues lost their 100 per cent record with a 1-1 draw against Morpeth.Following the weekend's first-ever FA Cup success, the Newtonians struggled to get any fluidity into their play against the Division One newboys.After a nondescript opening period had finished, the home side took the lead 10 minutes into the second half when Danny Earl did brilliantly down the left to evade his marker before pulling the ball back for strike partner Owens to bury into the bottom corner from inside the area. But the goalrushes of previous games did not materialise, and the visitors sensed an unlikely point.Their equaliser came from an unmarked Mark Chilton with nine minutes left of the game, volleying in from close range.Morpeth pressed for a winner, but FA Cup goalscoring keeper Dan Molyneux pulled off some smart stops to ensure the unbeaten run continued.
