Final score from today's Ebac Northern League Division One game

Sunderland RCA 0-4 Newton Aycliffe
⚽️ Brown 41'
⚽️ Burnicle 45' 51

An emphatic away win against our in-form hosts in a game which our new look forward line threatened throughout.
We started off strongly with Adam Burnicle hitting the bar with the scores level, we continued to press but it took until nearly half time to make the breakthrough when captain Aaron Brown rifled into the bottom corner following good work in the area from Ardelean and Jarvie. We went into the break two up when Adam Burnicle met a cross from the right, controlled, and fired home to double our lead.
After the break we continued as we ended the first half piling pressure on our hosts. We extended our lead shortly afterwards when Liam Jarvie whipped in a ball behind the RCA defence, who didn't react, and it was met by Adam Burnicle who sidefooted home.
At 3-0 we kept pushing with Jarvie hitting the bar with the RCA back four flat footed and Robbie Dean well beaten in the home side's goal.
We got our fourth after a spell of pressure when our hosts failed to clear a cross from the right which landed at Ethan Wood's feet, he played a quick one two with Marc Costello and then fired it into the bottom corner while everyone left it expecting it to go wide.
Despite our hosts hoping to convince the referee that they should have had a penalty, which the official called correctly, we were more than value for the three points and the clean sheet.

Man of the Match was Jake Petitjean
