New stand, toilets & turnstile installed

I want to say a massive thanks to the contractors and volunteers who have pulled out all the stops to get us over the line
- Allan Oliver

The football may have finished in April but it’s been a busy month of May at Moore Lane as works have been carried out to improve facilities. A new stand has been built, a new ladies toilet block installed & a second turnstile added.

The work was required since our promotion to Step 4 last season and the extra facilities will go a long way to improve the supporter experience at the ground.

Following the FA inspection to confirm the completion of the works club Chairman Allan Oliver expressed his delight at what had been achieved. “I want to say a massive thanks to the contractors and volunteers who have pulled out all the stops to get us over the line. Special mention must go to Andrew Lovegreen, Scott Garner and his team at DBS, the Harrop family at Workshop Supplies and of course Adrian Armstrong of Armstrong Building Services.”

Allan added “We are also extremely grateful for the grant funding we’ve received from Durham County Council through the Great Aycliffe and Middridge Partnership (GAMP) and support from Councillor Jim Atkinson without which none of this would be possible.”

With the ground grading works complete attention now moves to our second season in the NPL with details of pre-season friendlies & season ticket prices due to be announced shortly. Please keep any eye on our website & social media channels for further details.
