Welcome- Nicky Deverdics

Newton Aycliffe FC is delighted to announce the signing  of experienced midfielder Nicky Deverdics. 37 year old Nicky has spent the last 4 seasons with Blyth Spartans, making 157 appearances & scoring 22 goals.
Deverdics’ career started as a youth at Newcastle Utd before moving to Gateshead. He made 51 appearances in the EFL for Barnet & has also played for Wrexham & Hartlepool Utd
Aycliffe manager Brian Atkinson said: “I'm pleased to be able to bring in a player with such a pedigree & experience. Nicky has played at a higher level & will be a good influence on the younger members of our squad.”
